Weekly Singing Lessons
Roz teaches pupils who are heading for Singing Examinations, auditionees for theatre arts establishments and working towards one-off performances. She also works with Presenters who are looking to build confidence in their skills, voices and performance elements either in the workplace or elsewhere (speeches etc).
She works with pupils at The Studio and online on Mondays-Wednesdays during the day and in the evenings.
Every session begins with a safe and appropriate warm-up that will link to the song/s they are working on and then work begins on the repertoire for that session. Practice tracks, lyric sheets and sheet music are all supplied to every pupil to enable practice between sessions to ensure we get the most from time together in session.
Music Theory can also be taught although it is not mandatory and we work using the Josephine Koh ABRSM Theory Books which can be purchased through The Studio.

Group Singing Lessons
These singing groups are a great way for singers who wish to learn about their voices through singing a song or songs or their own choice as a solo in a safe, light-hearted and warm environment.
You will also learn about music theory, performance, microphone and even recording techniques as well as the vocal instrument itself.
There will be laughter, support and lots of fun amidst the voice work and singing culminating in a performance evening at the end of the term.
Roz has 25 years' experience in teaching music, voice, performance and singing to people of all ages and stages, and runs her own Studio in Ashtead, Surrey. Her friendly and relaxed style lends itself to helping others build confidence in their skills, and her work now involves running her own choirs, The Heart & Soul Choir (www.heartandsoulchoir.co.uk); working as a trained Personal & Professional Development Coach; hosting and running team-building events; setting up flashmobs, working as a Consultant Choir Leader; delivering training to primary and secondary school children and their teachers in groups of over 500 voices to get them singing and enjoying collaborative music experiences; and working with teachers to encourage more singing in the classroom to embed learning.
Her enthusiasm is infectious!
- This course runs across 10 Monday afternoons from 1pm - 2.30pm
- All groups are kept small so that each singer can work with Roz on a 1:1 basis during the term and get the most from their experience.
